Fire extinguishing in VR

VR EXPERIENCE

This virtual reality simulation focuses on the correct extinguishing of different types of fire with the appropriate extinguishing medium. It is a virtual reality software that serves for training, we start with a small tutorial that shows us the characteristics of the extinguishers and for what types of fire they serve and we must do a test-taking one of the extinguishers, remove the ring and operate it to extinguish a fire.

Once the tutorial is finished, a type of fire will appear randomly, in a certain time, we must take the appropriate extinguisher, approach the fire and operate the extinguisher to extinguish the fire, if we do it correctly, the simulator will indicate it to us. If we take too long or we take the wrong extinguisher we will not pass the VR training and the simulator tells us so, having the option to repeat it until we pass it.

The Game

This simulator uses Oculus virtual reality goggles, which is what makes the realism of the simulator exceptional.

We will have absolute positioning, thanks to this, we can move within the limits of space and see the details of our virtual experience.

With the virtual reality controls that adapt perfectly to the hands, we interact in the same way as we do in reality, to pick up the extinguisher, remove the ring or operate it.

Options

In the space for these simulators, we have two virtual reality stations, which can be extended if desired.
We recommend this activity for ages 12 and older because this content, although not very difficult to handle, is more complex when it comes to understanding the types of fire and the types of fire extinguishers we need to know.
