VR EXPERIENCE
Experience the sensation of height, tension, or vertigo, climbing on a paradise island in the Pacific, a canyon in the Arizona desert, or the Alps in Europe.
The climbing simulator is one of the best virtual reality applications on the market today.
The sensations it manages to convey to the user are incredible, as the user experiences the sensation of height, tension, vertigo, and even fear of falling into the void.
It has numerous spectacular climbing scenarios, such as paradise islands in Asia, a canyon in the arid desert of Arizona, or the Alps in Europe. We will climb on different terrains, including glacial ice, stairs, and endless zip lines.
One of the modes of the simulator is to make the virtual climbing experience as realistic as possible. Our climber will need magnesium in his hands in order not to fall, he gets tired so we have to take some time to rest. The controls also faithfully measure the force we exert with our hands, so we will have to measure the force we exert on each crack, the greater the force, the more tired we will become.
The Game
The operation is simple, with the controls of the virtual reality goggles we press the triggers to hold on to the wall, and once we hold on we lower the support hand to ascend, and so on. It usually takes a few seconds to understand the mechanics, that's why we technicians are there to help participants at all times.
We will have to reach one of the 3 bases to complete the climb, with an estimated time of 5 minutes. If you fall into the void, you will come out again at the last anchor point you passed.
The immersive virtual reality system we will use in this simulator is Oculus.
Options
In the space for these simulators, we have two virtual reality stations, which can be extended if desired.
We recommend this activity for ages 7 and up so that the VR goggles fit correctly on the head and there are no visual problems.
