The tennis simulator can perform any stroke that we can perform in a match, thanks to the precision of the controls that pick up the movements of our hands.
A backhand, a smash, a volley, a drop shot, a lob, or an unreturnable serve is entirely possible with the fidelity of the movements of the virtual tennis simulator.
In addition, we will have the possibility of playing on clay, court, or grass and we will also be able to choose the scenarios in which to play, from training ground to large stadiums with large crowds.
The game options are many, we can make the event a tournament in which each participant plays their own game, or even compete against each other.
The Game
To play tennis we will use the controls of the virtual reality goggles. When serving, we will catch the ball with one of the controllers and hit it with the other where we have the racket.
The controls are very sensitive and pick up the force with which we hit the racquet, so we will have to adjust our hitting force and the direction of our racquet.
The immersive virtual reality system we will use in this simulator is Oculus.
Options
It is required that the place chosen to hold the event is not directly affected by sunlight, as this may affect the correct functioning of the technological equipment.
In the space for these simulators, we have two virtual reality stations, which can be extended if desired.
We recommend this activity for ages 7 and up so that the VR goggles fit correctly on the head and there are no visual problems.
